Meet Lizzie

The painter, the punchline, and your new favorite Kansas card lady.

If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind all the dry humor and watercolor charm — hi, it’s Liz. A Salina-based artist, writer, and professional observer of everyday chaos. She started making cards that sounded like real humans, not the glitter-coated robots you find in big-box aisles. Turns out, people were craving honesty… and a few well-timed laughs.

Every card begins at her kitchen table — usually with a cup of coffee, a messy paint palette, and a one-liner that makes her snort-laugh. What starts as a tiny watercolor doodle becomes a hand-painted greeting card that feels personal, heartfelt, and just a tad unfiltered.

Liz’s humor is classic Kansas: dry, clever, and warm enough to balance the sass. Whether she’s painting wobbly flowers, writing something painfully relatable, or turning awkward moments into punchlines, her goal is simple:

make cards people actually enjoy giving.
